We have tried multiple restaurants in Peoria and this is the ONLY restaurant we have found that has grilled Tenderloin (not breaded) sandwiches. Great sandwich and REAL French fries! And their fried chicken is great as well.

So stop in on are way home from Galesburg, train station for lunch, my wife and I. My wife had the Pork Tenderloin Sandwich w/ Chips, this is her normal to try, she said it was fair could use some seasoning. I had Tuna Melt w/Chips. I enjoyed the sandwich, not sure if the chips are purchased or homemade they were good. Service was great, our waitress kept an eye on us and was polite. This is a small town Cafe, it is relaxing and very affordable. We arrived at 12:15PM and was served in about 20 minutes and table cleared by 12:58PM. The parking lot was full, that alone tells you they have good food. They have a very large menu of items and the dessert look great. Would stop here again $24.50 with 1 Sweet Tea

I'm writing this only from the breakfast experience. My wife and I stayed overnight nearby and wanted a hearty breakfast that wouldn't make us too full. Jubilee Cafe nailed it. Food is well-prepared and satisfying but not so much that we couldn't finish it. They have a handful of creative scrambles (I had one - very good). They also have a handful of combination platters as well (my wife had one - farm fresh food). Of course, you could also simply get pancakes or an omelette or standard fare. Service was attentive and quick. Standard diner ambiance.

Nice diner from service, to the feel, to the food...this one is all diner. Easy to get to right off the interstate so that was a win. They were pretty busy when we got there for a late lunch, no problems or issues with service. Everyone was nice I had breakfast and the sausage and hash browns were super good. My wife got the breaded tenderloin sandwich. She said it was really good, she also added fries and cheese sauce. I tried those and I liked them too. We did try a piece of key lime pie and it was really good. There were a few people buying full pies, so I would imagine all the other 20+ kinds they had to choose from were all pretty good. Worth a stop, we will be back as well.

What a great diner! We stopped in on a recent road trip to grab some lunch. Everyone is very friendly and sweet. It's right off the interstate so I'm sure they get lots of tourists, but there seemed to be a lot of regulars which is nice to see. Hubby ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich and I had the chicken fried steak. Both were breaded perfectly. The gravy on the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes was thick and creamy. The mashed potatoes weren't super flavorful, by themselves, but I was happy to see they were homemade and not flakes. And they were covered in gravy, so they didn't need to be super fancy anyway. Hubby's sandwich was delish! The bun was soft, the veggies were fresh. The tenderloin was pretty big, so he tore some off to dip in the gravy. LOL! I ordered baked apples as one of my sides, and they were good. They were firm and had lots of cinnamon. We also had to try the peach pie. I'm not a fan of peach pie in general, but this was good. The crust was very flaky and they give you a pretty good slice. I loved this place so much, I bought a t-shirt to remember our lunch here!

Good food for a small town restaurant reasonably priced. Located right off of Interstate 74 at the Kickapoo exit heading east towards Peoria.

Homestyle cooking here at its finest. Quaint little diner that is like a step back in time. Food hit the spot and was delicious. I got a bowl with mashed potatoes, fried chicken, cheese, and gravy and it was yummy. The strawberry pie too, was so fresh. Prices were very fair. The one complaint is the butterscotch pie was not our favorite. I overall recommend!!!
